Around lake Mälaren

When the Covid-19 pandemic struck Sweden, traveling abroad was a non-option. Even travels within Sweden were discouraged, but I went biking anyway. I had biked around the Vättern lake five times before (300 km) and the Vänern lake once (550 km) so next off was the Mälaren lake, a trip of about 350 km. I must admit the scenery wasn’t much I will remember, but there were exceptions, as always.

On my way south to Södertälje south of Stockholm

And I will always remember the strong tail wind the second day when I was biking back to Stockholm on the northern part of the lake.

Off the beaten track, approaching Ekolsund
